In honor of International Permaculuture Day Josh Koppen, The Natural Builder and environmental educator  has organized a day of skill sharing at three urban agriculture programs in the City of Cleveland.  

We will be starting at Vel's Purple Oasis Garden
from 10-12, then on to Let it Bee Garden from 12:30 - 2:30 and then finally at City Rising Farm from 3-5.

Come on out and enjoy learning some new permaculture techniques and/or share some of your own!

We are preparing for GardenWalk Cleveland 2012.  Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month and are at the University Circle United Methodist Church located at
1919 East 107 street, 44106 from 7 to 9 pm.
 in the main floor Yoder Room
Please join us as we prepare for this fabulous event!

The church is at Chester and 107.
There is free secure parking in the church lots either next to the church or across the street.

Earth Day Coalition joins the Environmental Education Collaborative and the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority to present the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve Open House, Migration Mania, from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. Guided hikes at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 am. Presentations on the history and ecology of the nature preserve in the State Park office at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Environmental activities at 9:00 and 10:00 am and noon in the State Park office.
